Rooted in Architectural Sensibility

Nishi’s work is grounded in architectural structure, spatial density, and volumetric presence, integrating natural phenomena into space to explore the fusion of architecture and phenomenon.

In Boundary of Light and Shadow, he spatializes the coexistence of light and darkness through lighting—the smallest architectural element—touching upon the origins of architectural sensibility. In Ripple, full-scale architectural space becomes a site where wind and light resonate with structure, revealing the hidden order of nature within space.

These works overlay architectural and phenomenal scales, proposing space as a medium between environment and perception.
