In "BOOK IN THE SEA" the artists are proposing a book made of air and water, text rising from the depths of the Grand Harbour to speak to the audience standing at the Lower Barrakka Gardens. The sea, as a page on which human thoughts and reflections manifest themselves, makes an apt book format for the poetic images surfacing from underneath. This work brings together cutting-edge technological tools with principles borrowed from the composition of literary works. The result is a poetic reflection on the ephemerality of all things in a harbour which ha s been a key-point in the history of the Maltese Islands and the Euro-Mediterranean region. The poem is terse.  Much is left unsaid , as in life. These words just point, without comment, to the balance between the continuous emptying and replenishing character of the sea and human life. The rest is a silent invitation to witness the moment.
