An indoor reconstruction of Koive, originally inspired by the motion of birch leaves in Finland.
Unlike the outdoor version, this installation at TOKAS Hongo was redesigned to respond to the room’s geometry and lighting conditions.

Perforated steel straps determine their form through tension and bending, creating an apparatus-like system that reacts to the surrounding environment. In the still indoor air, the structure’s tension becomes visible, and subtle shifts in light alter the work’s expression.

Through the interaction of structure and environment, the work embodies a quiet tension and poetic stillness—an architectural manifestation of phenomena.
