In the present age, the darkness has been lost. People got used to the bright life in the room. I felt the necessity of darkness and thought of ways to create darkness in the present age. Also according to famous novelist Junichiro Tanizaki 's "In Praise of Shadows" Originally, the darkness is to bring out the beauty of places and things, and It is an important existence that gives people imagination. The way I took in this work, By creating light in one direction and Use the shadow that appears on the opposite side. I created a lighting fixture that creates darkness. I named this "terminator". terminator means a moving line that divides the daylit side and the dark night side of a planetary body.  By creating darkness by light, At the same time, light and darkness are lighting equipments that can coexist in the same space. We feel this again the charm of darkness.
