Set in the harbor of Valletta, Malta, BOOK IN THE SEA constructs a poetic space using air and water as invisible materials.
By treating the sea as a canvas, the installation visualizes human thought as floating text, exploring the relationship between language and natural phenomena.
Waves, wind, and reflections continuously reshape the “book,” which functions as a device linking reading and viewing, contemplation and nature.
Realized through multiple collaborative processes, the work presents a mature form of phenomena architecture, seeking a new spatial language where perception and memory intersect within poetic stillness.
