The path of moonlight across the sea—a bright trail drawn over the surface—became the starting point for Sky Path. Transparent triangular acrylic rods capture incoming light, which repeatedly reflects and refracts. As the sun’s altitude changes, the position and intensity of the lines shift. In winter, the low western light produces continuous reflections, traversing the space like a single luminous track. The mechanics of bamboo blinds are adapted into the structure, allowing loads to be distributed rather than borne at a single point. Subtle tremors slightly displace the lines of light. A folding screen–like system enables each panel to stand independently while remaining continuous as a whole. The visible lines change with the viewer’s movement and with time itself. Sky Path creates conditions through which natural light can travel, fixing its trajectory within the structure.
