Inspired by an underground tunnel of an old mine, Läsnäolo crystallizes the repetition of water dripping from rock walls and the subtle transitions of the seasons within the space. Scattered aluminum devices respond to falling droplets, transmitting vibrations with each impact. Resonant sound, humidity shifts, and momentary reflections overlap, and the space trembles with a quiet, breathing presence. The industrial time etched into the mine and the cyclical rhythm of subterranean water become structural elements. The work seeks to reveal the hidden relationship between artificial and natural, past and present. Rather than passively displaying environmental forces, it constructs the conditions that activate them, allowing the space to function as a structure that generates phenomena.
