Minamo Mirror is a light installation centered on reflections of urban light across Shinobazu Pond. Units arranged around the pond emit outward beams, and ripples sway with each passing breeze, heightened by blue LEDs. Reflections change subtly with weather and humidity, merging city lights with their mirrored images. Three circular structures float on the water, their interiors holding shadow. By illuminating the outer rim, an island like darkness emerges at the center. Connecting artificial light with the unstable medium of water, the work presents a temporary equilibrium between light and shadow.
