Set in the harbor of Valletta, Malta, BAĦĦ BLU / BLUE VOID (The Book in the Sea) is an installation composed from the invisible elements of air and water. The sea surface becomes a canvas on which human thought appears as text. Waves, wind, and reflections cause the images to shift constantly; meaning never stays fixed. The “book” on the water is something to be read, yet also something to be watched. Pages are turned by waves, and letters blur within reflections. Through collaboration among multiple creators, thought and technique merge as conditions for generating phenomena. It is a space where language and natural events intersect.
