A condensed, intimate version of the spatial structure developed in Shape of Light – ROOM B138. Phenomena once unfolding in a large architectural space are relocated into a contained box. This is not a mere reduction in scale but a reconstruction that extracts the relationship between light and shadow. Two suspended units made from natural branches support glass LEDs. Orange and blue light slightly overlap, and shadows oscillate between them. Because of the small scale, even minimal changes immediately transform the shadows. The viewer peers inside, and the structure is completed through this act of looking. The work compresses spatial relationships into an intimate encounter.
